Red Run September 10, 2011 flooding

September 10, 2011

It appears the Kuhn retention center discharged once again.
The water of the Red Run on September 10, 2011 began to approach
the height of the bridge on Ryan Road Saturday morning.

Pictures and video to appear shortly

This appears to be the “new” operating procedure.
As a little kid it almost never got to the bridge height,
and that’s over 45 years of history in my head.
Lately it occurs every other month with billions of gallons
being released and only being minimally treated to
pass inspection reports.
