Ryan Road Red Run construction progress 8/30/2012

August 30, 2012

The hydraulic jack hammers continue to pound away the
steel reinforced concrete on a daily basis as August 2012
draws to a close for the Labor Day Weekend in Warren, MI.

Lots of illegal traffic shenanigans with plenty of U-Turns
on Ryan Road as people refuse to drive around the block.
People have no regard for pedestrians, simply whipping the steering
wheels into driveways as they talk on their cell phones, unaware of
who or what is around them, as if they own the entire intersection,
and nothing is more important than their car and them at that instant.

Wooden structures and forms were built to repair the exposed rebar
on the underside of the Ryan Road Red Run Bridge south of 14 Mile Road.
Notice the debris fallen into the river and rocks.
