Staying current on the Clinton ?

July 4, 2013

Why does it take Macomb County Health Department sooo long
to update its Sewer Overflow Notifications of the CLINTON River ?
Remember the Red Run flows directly in the Clinton.

It often takes several weeks for the info to be displayed on the internet.
I wrote about this fact last year at the exact same time – shame on them !

Notice the blanks with missing info in 2013 back on 6/27/2013.
It’s summer time in Michigan, we get thunderstorms, often and frequently.
If you used the Clinton , would you want to know about drain/sewer releases ?
Obviously not a concern or priority to government officials, year after year !
It’s almost like they don’t want you to know with the abbreviations, codes, etc.
Notice how at the bottom of Macombs Health page it “claims” :
updated on July 2, 2013

People who want to recreate on the Clinton River should have current and
up-to-date info for events that happen involving the water flow.

Other agencies and organizations seem to have no problem with informational flow,
what makes Macomb County Health Department reporting out so difficult, year after year ?
