(OMID) REHABILITATION PROJECT

The split of OMID repair costs between Macomb and Oakland Counties
– is 51.5% and 48.5%, respectively.

In addition, of the total volume measured at the Northeast Sewage
Pumping Station (NESPS), which serves as the terminus of the OMID
to Detroit’s North Interceptor-East Arm (NI-EA), and billed to OMID,
– Macomb County assumes 60% while Oakland County assumes only 40%.

The Wastewater Services contracts between the OMIDDD and Macomb County
and OMIDDD and Oakland County provides that for the first three years,
the operations and maintenance costs are to be allocated
51.5% and 48.5% between Macomb and Oakland Counties, respectively.

Contract 4 is a continuation of the overall program for the rehabilitation
of the Oakland-Macomb Interceptor Drain (OMID), which consists of the
Edison Corridor Interceptor (PCI- 5, 6, and 7),
the Oakland Arm Interceptor (PCI-8, 9, 10A, and 10B),
and the Avon Arm Interceptor (PCI-11A) which is a tributary.

The work is anticipated to take up to two (2) years from the
Notice-to-Proceed date (August 7, 2013) as the
target substantial completion.

wastewater rates simplification committee,
wastewater flow balance task force group subcommittee.
– Attends monthly Board of Water Commissioners (BOWC) meetings.
– Represents Macomb Public Works on pollution control projects
a.) PC-791 – a $38 million incinerator rehabilitation
b.) PC-792 – a $146 million construction of bio-solids drying facility.
– Provides oversight for the Macomb Interceptor Drainage District (MID).
– Serves as liaison between the Office of the Macomb County Public Works
and local elected officials, as well as municipal officials responsible
for wastewater services in the Macomb County Wastewater Disposal District .
