THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC
HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING
IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN…

CLINTON RIVER

Although no additional rainfall is expected for
the next several days, the combination of
heavy rainfall yesterday and an additional
one to two inches of rainfall today
will allow waters to rise past flood stage
for the Clinton River near
Clinton Township this evening.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR
THE CLINTON RIVER IN STERLING HEIGHTS AND CLINTON TOWNSHIP..
* FROM NOW UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
* AT 5 PM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE IS 15.8 FEET AND RISING.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 16.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST IS TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON…
AND CREST AROUND 16.5 FEET THIS EVENING.
* FLOOD HISTORY…THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST
OF 17.7 FEET ON NOV 29 2011.
