GLWA first meeting
The Great Lakes Water Authority GLWA met on Friday December 12, 2014 downtown Detroit.
A state-appointed representative will need to be picked and join the board.
Macomb County has many of its own challenges to overcome, exacerabated via Oakland Counties continued negligence in fixing its own Combined Sewer System, which spills into the Red Run Drain.
Macomb County officials need to man up and stop letting Oakland County run amok. Residents are facing repeated flooding events and demand connections into the Interceptor, to relieve surcharging of the drains in places like Warren.
Hopefully the gentleman from Sterling Heights, acting as a rep in the GLWA, does his background homework on the 12TownsDrain, George Kuhn Retention Basin, and its cause/effect role upon Macomb County residents .
